How to fix canon ip1000 printer that says “print head is not installed”?

Just now i have been encountering problems with our canon ip1000 printer. Even though the print head is installed with ink jets, it wont allow us to print and a window pops up that says “The appropriate print head is not installed.”. Any tips on how i can fix this? I need to print a lot of projects soon. :D Thanks in advance to those that can help. :D
