Which brand makes the best personal home office printers?

HP? Brother? I have a budget of $200. Do you have any recommendations? I need a RELIABLE printer. I’d like to try brother because ALL the HP printers I’ve every had did not last for more than 2 1/2 or 3 years!Submited by:Oscara D

i have an HP Printer why won’t it print

I have a HP Photosmart 8250 inkjet printer. It worked fine till a little while ago. The the text I wanted stopped printing. So I tried to reinstall the drivers from HP. Pictures would print fine—still no text. HP says the printer is unfixable and I should buy a new one. They had a suggestion for me: buy a new one. I have heard that there was a software restriction on the amount of pages they can produce. I have also heard that there is a work around for it.
Any suggestions?
