How do I change the ink waste absorber in my Canon i9900 printer?

i need a new printer, i want one with the least expensive ink, ive seen ink cartidges in tesco for 2 n 3 pound, suitable for some canon, and epson printers. the trouble is i cant find the printers that match the ink, can anyone help!

e.g. one cartridge is suitable for the canon IP1700 n i can only find the canon IP1600 0r IP1200 if u get me?Submited by:ILBW

How do I get an Epson ink cartridge to fit into my Canon printer?

I don’t get it. This ink cartridge doesn’t even look like the last one that’s already in the printer (and is out of ink), it’s much bigger.

How can I make it fit?
