ok i am 13 years old and I have a 4 year old laptop. It was my laptop that I got for christmas from my dads side of the family. I was offered a babysitting job and in four weeks (watching this child everyday) I will get 180 bucks… I was looking at a dell inspiron mini 10″ netbook with intel atom Z520 processor (color black, new) for $298. I this a good deal I read the reviews and all of them were good. But can you download microsoft word 2007, games, clip art? Can you hook a printer up to the netbook and print thigs off? Does it have a good wireless internet rage? Do you have to buy internet to get one? Do you have to have a little microchip thing for memory or can you buy a portable memor storage thing for it the ones at best buy? The one I want is at best buy you buy it online…. but my mom and dad hve sucky cretit so if you baught the netbook on the spot or through the internet do you have to have good credit even in your paying in full for the netbook? I have addresses stored in an Excel spreadsheet which I need to reformat to make the addresses print out on a label printer. Currently the address lines are stored horizontally and I need them be vertical.

For example:

A1 = Maple School; B1 = 123 Main St; C1 = Springfield; D1 = MO; E1 =60001

I need this to be either:

A1 = Maple School
123 Main St
Springfield MO 60001

OR

A1 = Maple School
A2 = 123 Main St
A3 = Springfield CO 60001

How do I make a formula for that? Should I import this into Access or something?
Would that work in a formula? I have over 1,000 addresses and I don’t want to type them all out – defeats the purpose of manipulating data.Submited by:Yepper

I’ve always wanted to know how Windows is able to somehow install a driver for your USB device or your printer or whatever other hardware you attach to your machine right when you first attach it. Is there some super magical algorithm employed, or is it simply a look-up into a vast library of commonly used drivers packaged with Windows, and if it isn’t found, then you’re asked to insert your installation media?

HP are pretty good, but their printer driver and software are a programmer’s nightmare and a pain in the butt for network admins.

A few questions:

Why does it take 30 minutes to uninstall HP printer driver and software suite when most programs the same size usually uninstall between 10 seconds and 1 minute?

Why is HP’s image editor take up 400 MB when it does less than most 5MB editors?

What is going on in HP’s software development section? And is their management so incompetent that they don’t care about stream-lining their printer software?

I have had this printer for a while, but I haven’t used it. I am now trying to install it and don’t have a clue in what to do. I also learned that Lexmark z23s are not for sale anymore. Any help would be apprecaited !

i am look for an offordable/free pos (point of sale) program for a small buisness. my buisness being a pharmacy. i also wanted to know how to connect this POS?

i read some reviews on quickbooks pos (point of sale) and some said it was good while others said it was extremely horrid and hard to use and not worth the money?

what about SAGE ( i believe that was the name) how is that?

what are some free POS software? and where can i download them

i also wanted to know, if i buy a pos software or download one, do i just install it on a regular pc (like maybe a extra one from home) n take it to my pharmacy and use it?

i know that i will obviously need the barcode scanner the drawer n the recipt printer thing
