i am using XP if someone can tell step wise installation of printer it will be really helpful.Submited by:Maria K

I have a HP 1012 laser printer. I need another printer cartridge refill. The off brand laser printer cartridges I see online are about half price compared to the HP brand itself. A lot of the companies selling the off brand printer cartridges get good reviews online. Would you recommend buying a new offbrand laser printer cartridge from one of them?

Can anyone help with a perplexing problem with HP Officejet 45.

The printer worked fine with Vista for 6mo, then stopped.

I have tried everything –
Reinstalled drivers, deleted drivers, downloaded latest drivers from HP site, checked firewall – everything I could think of – but no luck.

If I try to print more than one page – or a page in a long document, it freezes. It just keeps saying ‘Printer Error’ and I have to delete the print queue

The only thing I can find wrong is one Network Adaptor Driver which is faulty:
isatap.{EA2445F-716B-4294-A080-7625477923CD}

Apart from that, everything on the machine’s fine.

Any ideas?

I am looking for things needed to be able to refill my cartridge in my printer. Of course i already know what type of ink I will use. I was just wondering what chemical to put in the lid where ink comes out so the dried inks can be wiped out. When I was in INKTEC, I saw the sales lady put on some kind of white liquid in the lid of my cartridge and presto the black inks that are dried are now dissolved. I really need to know what chemical is that.. is it water? alcohol?

I have been looking at the low end models from HP, Samsung and Brother, which seem to hover around $150, depending on where you shop. I definitely need color, but not for photos. Any graphics I print would be icons and logos and many may have gradients, so I’m not sure how well these cheap printers would print them. Any help or suggestions on specific models is appreciated.
