I sit next to a laser printer in a medium sized room for work purposes. Is it unhealthy?

Is it potentially cancerous, severely debilitating, and a possible reason for cardiovascular disease? After printing, I smell a sometimes relatively strong smell of warmed ink, most likely from the toner. The model is a Brother MFC scanner/copier/printer/fax machine. What could help? Should I place it far as possible from my sitting location? It’s right next to me, within a 2 feet for easy reach. Help. I need sincere, and if possible well-researched answers!

lightweight, semigloss paper for inkjet?

I need a lightweight (around 24 lb.), semigloss paper for an HP inkjet printer. I need to be able to print on both sides as well.

Can anyone recommend a brand and where I can find it? I looked at Officemax, but they only have heavy, high-gloss paper.Submited by:Kathryn C

My canon printer, iP4300, says that the yellow ink is out, when i is over half full. How can i print?

Every time I try to print, the computer says that the ink is out. Then, i “replace” it by opening it and removing it then putting it back in. But, it keeps on saying that the ink is out. How can i trick my printer into thinking there is ink so I can prink?
Also, there is no option for the printer to print in black and white.
