Could someone tell me if that ID is referring to a specific printer? or is this just basic computer jargon when one goes to print.? Thanks in advance.

Internet research seems to produce the following:
-Casio and TDK make thermal printers that can print only appx 16 lines. As most CDs average about 20 tracks, this seems dumb!
-Other thermal CD printers may allow for more lines to be printed but seem poor for reliability from user reviews.
-Epson inkjet printers may take a long time to dry, upto 24 hrs according to some users. Any comments on this?
-I have read nothing bad about the Canon iP4200, but would be interested in peoples’ experiences…good or bad.

Some people also say that the tray for printing CDs in the Epson is flimsy. Others report no problems. Perhaps a problem now resolved? Any experiences?

I work at Walgreens in the photo department and part of my job is to refill ink cartridges which is a messy job. The ink dries in literally 10 seconds and scrubbing my hands with just soap and water only takes off like 30% of it. Any suggestions?
I actually tried fast orange. I have some in my trunk. Unfortunately by the time I am able to use it, it usually is about 4-8 hours after the ink gets on my hands.

I recently updated my Adobe Reader 8 to Adobe Reader 9, but when I try to scan something from my Canon Pixma MP460, the only options it allows are the ones above. There is no “browse” button anywhere. How can I add Adobe Reader to the options so that I can view my scans?
