I know it sounds like a silly question, but do you connect your digital camera to it and print the pictures like that or are they stored by some kind of memory card? I have a Samsung Digimax D53 digital camera and i don’t know which is the best printer for me to buy. Also, is there anything else i should know before buying one.

I have always owned Kodak digital cameras so I have the whole setup. Recently my camera broke and I started looking for a new one and decided to go with a Canon SD750. While reading it says it will be able to print to any Pictbridge printers. I know that when I transfered pictures my camera always said pictbrige on the screen so I started to wonder if I would be able to transfer to Kodak printer using USB or something. I am selling my Kodaks to pay for new camera and will try to sell printer dock if it will be useless. Thanks for any info you have!

I used my Nikon Coolpix L6 to take photos of my vacation. On the way home, I was able to review the pictures fine. The next day I went to upload them to the computer and neither the camera nor the printer (which I use to transfer pics) would recognize the memory card. I have an old Kodak EasyShare camera so I tried putting the card into it- I can see the pics, briefly, then it gives me a message saying “Unrecognizable file format”. I know the card works in both cameras (It’s the only one I’ve ever used for both cameras). I’m glad to see that I haven’t completely lost the pics, but how can I fully recover them and or fix the ‘unrecognizable file format’ problem so I can finally share my vacation photos? Oh, and I have NO CLUE where my camera wires (to hook it up directly to the computer) are….anything else I can do? HELP!

Hello. I currently have a Kodak Easyshare 5.0MP that is about two years old. I really want to get a new camera because I am not receiving the best quality from this one. I think the only reason that I purchased it in the first place is that it came with a printer dock and that was really nice.
Lastnight I bought an Olympus Fe-230 and it really sucks. I am taking it back today along with the xD memory card and getting my money back. I thought with the good name brand and the 7.1MP I was in the safe zone but I guess not.
I want a camera that is in between $80-140 that takes crisp and clear pictures. I have a BEAUTIFUL cat that I would love to take pictures of, but my Kodak isn’t doing it for me. I would also like a camera that is easy on batteries. I want to be able to take up to 70 pictures in one day with standard AA batteries.
I have looked online at many retailers and many stores and I get so many good reviews but then I see the bad ones and it worries me.
I was looking at a Canon A560 and it seems like a WONDERFUL little camera to have, but then I heard about the E-18 error and the bad customer service from Canon and I am not looking forward to that.
I also saw a nice Nikon L11, a Samsung that apparently eats batteries like a pig, and a nice Sony one too.
Any ideas? I am going out today so I would like to know which ones could be purchased from Target, Meijer, Radioshack, Kmart, Ritz, or any place like that.
I have searched for these places online and received good/bad reviews. I just want some place that I can go to, test the camera out myself, then decide.
Thank you!
